After the flowers have wilted, after the reception and the honeymoon are a distant memory, your wedding photographs will be the only lasting remainders of your wedding day.
We are different in the way we approach each wedding. We start with a free consultation to find out exactly what you expect from your photographs. Before the wedding we attend the rehearsal to familiarize ourselves with the intricacies of your wedding. In addition we ask you to provide a list of photographs you don't want to miss.
We have added a new service, BRIDAL BOUDIR photographs. These will be taken prior to the wedding, to be used as a special gift of the bride to her husband at the day of the wedding.
We always work with two accomplished photographers, our head photographer Heinz Richter and Monika Kopec as assistant photographer and art director. This gives you twice the assurance of complete photographic coverage with painstaking attention to detail, posing and composition.
HEINZ RICHTER grew up in the photography business of his father in Germany. He has worked in the photographic industry in the Twin Cities since 1969. Besides running his photography business he was also the head of the photography department at the School of Communication Arts where he taught two professional photography courses for thirteen years. His photographs have been exhibited and have won awards locally, nationally and internationally.
MONIKA KOPEC earned a degree in Art from the University of Minnesota and a professional photography diploma. She combines her education and training to bring a fresh and different approach to all of her photographic tasks. This has been one of the key factors that make wedding photographs by GMP Photography stand out.
The combined knowledge and experience of Heinz and Monika present a photographic tour de force rarely found in any other photography studio.
We always custom tailor our photography coverage to meet your specific wishes. We are there to photograph your special day from the time you are getting ready for the wedding, all formal photographs, the ceremony and, if you wish, the reception.
Before the photographs are delivered we will optimize each individually with our computer system in PhotoShop to assure you of the best possible quality. Unless requested otherwise, you will receive all photographs with maximum size and resolution on a CD that is yours to keep. From those photographs you may select up to 100 which we will then put with a professional layout into a bound leather album as your main keepsake.
